Zola's Registry FAQs

What is a universal registry?

A universal registry brings together all your registry gifts on one page, so guests can easily shop your gifts in one place, and you can track everything in one place. Zola is the only place where you can register for gifts, gift cards, and cash funds from our store, add gifts from other stores, and add a registry from another store.

How long does it take to add a registry from another store?

Typically, it takes less than 10 minutes to add a registry to a Zola registry. We’ll email you once the registry is successfully added. Having trouble adding a registry? Reach out to us at support@zola.com and we’ll take care of you right away.

If we add a gift from another store to our Zola registry, how does it work?

You can choose to receive the cash equivalent of the gift (so you can buy it yourself), or have guests purchase it from the other store’s website. For more info, visit this page.

Will Zola ship gifts we add from other stores?

No. If you add a gift from another store and direct guests to purchase it from that store’s website, the gift will ship from that store, too.

Can we choose when to ship gifts from other stores?

Unfortunately, this benefit only applies to gifts purchased on Zola.com. Gifts purchased from other stores follow that store’s shipping policies.

If we add a registry from another store, can we return or exchange gifts from that registry to Zola?

No. Guests will be taken to your other registry to buy and ship gifts added from that registry. We’re happy to handle any returns or exchanges for purchases on Zola.com. But gifts purchased from another store follow that store’s policies.
